Krasnoo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kline wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Krasnoo throws a sloppy head kick and Kline moves out of range easily. A nice combination there by Krasnoo.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kline manages to end up in side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kline is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Kline's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Finch wants to get up but he can't break Kline's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #T1# Finch wants to stand and escape but instead Kline has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Finch is looking to sweep but instead, Kline has passed into half guard.

Duke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kline keeps working. Duke tries to advance to mount but Kline denies him. Kline is trying to control Duke's posture but Duke avoids it. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#SU2# Duke decides to stand back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duke tries to clinch but Kline is having none of it. #TD2# Duke shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kline's guard. Duke is looking to stand up but Kline won't let him. #T1# Duke throwing strikes but missing. Kline controlling Duke's posture. Duke wants to control from the top but Kline keeps moving. Assad regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kline working over Assad with some ground and pound. Assad looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Assad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Assad trying to hold on to Kline's head to control him but Kline postures up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kline's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kline controls from within his opponent's guard. Kline has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. SmithSmithfield controlling the position.
