Kuren keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#TD# Baker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kuren to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kuren prevents Baker from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuren postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kuren loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Baker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kuren is controlling him. #T1# Kuren showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Baker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kuren looking to pass the guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kuren stands up over Baker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Baker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kuren is controlling him. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kuren has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kuren throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. #T3# Kuren lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Kuren takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kuren is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Baker reverses the position - he's now on top in Kuren's guard. Kuren pulls Baker in close to his closed guard and prevents Baker from doing any damage or advancing position. Kuren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baker manages to get himself to full guard.
