Quinlan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quinlan is trying to control. Beasley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Quinlan is controlling the pace.
Beasley won't allow Quinlan to pass to mount. Quinlan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Quinlan slows the pace down in half guard. #SUB2# Quinlan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beasley sees it coming and defends easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beasley wants to improve his position but Quinlan is controlling well.
Beasley is in trouble now - Quinlan has advanced to mount! Beasley bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1##SUB2# Beasley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Quinlan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Beasley is looking to defend but Quinlan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Beasley! Quinlan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Beasley taps out and this one is all over!
