#R1# Paz looks to land a left hand but Gagnon moved out of range nicely.#CL# Paz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #TD2# Gagnon pulls guard. #SUB2# Gagnon has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Paz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gagnon has tightened it up now! Paz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Luc Gagnon! Luc Gagnon really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Amped Performance logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

#R1# Paz closes the distance and clinches up with Acosta, looking for a takedown. Paz pushes Acosta against the cage but Acosta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Acosta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A head kick misses from Paz. Paz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Acosta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paz avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paz checks a low kick from Acosta. Acosta dives in and grabs Paz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paz pushes down on Acosta's head and hops out.#CL# Acosta clinches up with Paz and pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Acosta breaks the clinch.
#T1# No luck with that takedown attempt from Paz. Antione Acosta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vinnie Paz. Paz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Acosta defends it nicely.#CL# Acosta forces Paz back against the cage and clinches. Acosta really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Paz wants to control but Acosta is keeping busy.
Acosta will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Paz is looking for a sweep. Acosta is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Paz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Acosta moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Paz works over Acosta's head and body with a nice combination. Paz throws a body shot but no joy. Acosta tries to counter by clinching up but Paz breaks away and moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Antione Acosta will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Acosta throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Vinnie Paz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Antione Acosta's cut. The referee calls time. Paz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Acosta circles away quickly and effectively. Paz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Acosta walks into a straight right hand from Paz. Acosta keeps the fight on the outside. Acosta appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Acosta avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Beasley is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Emilio Beasley has been cut. Paz throws a pinpoint strike between Beasley's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Beasley crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Paz scores a great knockout victory!

#BC2# Paz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Paz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A left and a right from Paz both land. Nice combination. #TD# Guerrero closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Paz's guard. Paz is looking to stand back up but Guerrero counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Paz. #REVB# This has been an exciting period of action! Guerrero winds up and cracks Paz with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Guerrero scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#SUB# Guerrero seems to be working for a kimura but Paz defends the submission attempt.#T1# Paz is trying to stand up here but Guerrero is controlling him well. Paz is trying to maintain the position but Guerrero is very close to passing his half guard. Guerrero is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Paz pushes Guerrero off looking to stand but Guerrero dives back in and keeps control.
