#R1# Sylvia lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sylvia throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #TD2# Fabor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fabor showed some decent athleticism there. #SU2# Fabor stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sylvia to get to his feet. Sylvia throws a head kick that misses. Fabor with the counter takedown but Sylvia avoids it easily. Sylvia dips to his left and cracks Fabor with an uppercut! Fabor tries to clinch up. Sylvia swinging wildly here.
Sylvia sets himself, and Fabor steps forward looking for the clinch! Sylvia avoids it this time. Sylvia scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fabor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sylvia's waist but Sylvia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fabor off to one side. Sylvia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sylvia appears to be looking for a big counter.#T1# Sylvia misses with a two punch combination.
Fabor drops his hands momentarily and Sylvia takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sylvia with a hook. Nice uppercut there from Sylvia.#ROC# Fabor is rocked! Sylvia lands with a big right hook that stumbles Fabor - he's out on his feet here! Sylvia follows up with another monster hook that separates Fabor from consciousness! Fabor falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Sylvia stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Slim Sylvia! Slim Sylvia really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

#R1##CL2# Morris gets tackled into the cage by Fabor. Fabor maintains the clinch. Morris misses with a hook from the clinch. #BC2# Fabor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fabor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD2# Fabor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Morris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fabor is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fabor content just to control the position here. Morris is wriggling around trying to escape.

Morris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Fabor working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Fabor controlling from the full mount. #T1# Morris is looking to get to half guard. Fabor controlling the position easily from mount. The referee warns Morris that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Morris is trying desperately to improve position. #R1# Fabor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hood seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Hood tries to close the distance and clinch but Fabor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Fabor has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fabor pulls Hood in close to his closed guard and prevents Hood from doing any damage or advancing position. Fabor is continuing to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Fabor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
#T1# Fabor doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fabor seems keen to control Hood's posture. Hood has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hood preventing the sweep. Fabor avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fabor controlling Hood's posture. Fabor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hood is one step ahead there. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fabor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fabor looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3# Fabor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fabor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fabor looking to control the position here, rather than advance. It looks like Fabor might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Paul Fabor is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fabor can do anything to dispel that myth. Fabor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hood manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Paul Fabor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fabor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
