Reilly tries to counter by clinching up but Wayne breaks away and moves out of range. Reilly throws an overhand right that lands on Wayne's shoulder, as Wayne tries to avoid the shot. Wayne misses with a combination
and Reilly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wayne lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wayne throws a right and a left that Reilly avoids nicely. Wayne throws a head kick that misses and Reilly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wayne misses with a kick to the body and Reilly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wayne has his takedown stuffed and Reilly counters with a stiff right hand. Reilly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wayne stalks Reilly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reilly's face. Reilly staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd are loving this. Reilly has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Wayne moves forwards but Reilly connects with a nice, crisp jab. Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reilly was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne. Reilly is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Wayne throws a lazy uppercut

Reilly lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Reilly sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Wayne's defenses. It connects perfectly with Wayne's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

No joy there for Wayne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wayne scores with a one two! Velasquez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Velasquez takes a body punch but keeps moving. #KD2# Wayne lands a left and a right that send Velasquez crashing to the mat, dazed. Wayne thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2# Velasquez is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Manuel Velasquez has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Velasquez is looking to clinch. Wayne throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Velasquez's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wayne dives in looking to finish as Velasquez flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wayne's strikes! Wayne is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Velasquez's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Velasquez was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Banner keeps control of Wayne as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wayne lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Banner backwards. Banner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wayne's elbow. Banner scores with a shoulder strike. Banner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wayne's elbow. #KD2# Wayne drops Banner onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Banner is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC2# Banner is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wayne creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Banner with a big uppercut! Banner tries to clinch up but Wayne pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Banner to the mat! Banner covers up and Wayne unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1##CL2# Wayne gets a clinch. Wayne lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wayne lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Wayne lands with a left to the head. #CUT2# It looks like Brendan Burgess has been cut. Burgess fails to pull guard.
Wayne misses with a short punch on the inside. Wayne can't find room to land a body shot as Burgess controls the action.
Wayne lands a right hand. #ROC2# Burgess is rocked! Wayne using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burgess has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Oh Burgess is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wayne lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Wayne dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Burgess keeps control of Wayne as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nice body punch from Wayne. Wayne throws a big uppercut that drops Burgess! More strikes from Wayne and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Burgess lies dazed against the cage as Wayne celebrates with his cornermen!
