Campbell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Gutierrez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Campbell shoots for a double leg takedown but Gutierrez sprawls well. He's pushed Campbell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Campbell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gutierrez defends well and Campbell ends up having to push Gutierrez into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.#TD#
Campbell gets the takedown into side control.

Campbell misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Campbell throws an elbow but Gutierrez slips to the side and avoids it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gutierrez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gutierrez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Campbell's head backwards.
Gutierrez tries to bum rush Campbell with a series of wild strikes but Campbell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Campbell fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Campbell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Campbell shoots in but Gutierrez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Campbell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gutierrez tries to avoid it but Campbell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gutierrez to the ground. Gutierrez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Campbell is breathing heavily.

Campbell feints and as Freeman raises his hands in defense, Campbell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Campbell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
It looks like Campbell might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Freeman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Campbell passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freeman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Campbell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Well, if Campbell is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Campbell creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Freeman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
