#R1# Brandis avoids the body shot from Routh.
Brandis dives in for a single leg takedown but Routh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Routh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Brandis avoids the head kick by Routh.
A combination from Brandis does no damage. Routh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brandis finds it's way round the side to connect with Routh's head. #KD2# Oooooh!!! Brandis has knocked Routh down with a huge combo! Brandis steps away and waves a wobbly Routh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2# It looks like Peter Routh has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brandis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice inside leg kick there by Routh. That's going to slow Brandis down. A looping hook to the body misses from Routh. Brandis does a little dance to reset his feet.#CL# Routh moves into the clinch successfully.

Brandis lands a hook that snaps the head of Routh backwards. #ROC2# Routh is rocked! Brandis digs a right hand into Routh's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Routh's gas tank. Routh tries to break the clinch but Brandis is controlling the position. Brandis lands a nice shot to the body. Routh throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

#CL# Brandis gets tackled into the cage by Routh. Routh maintains the clinch. Routh stalling in the clinch but Brandis improves position. A short right from Brandis. This has been an exciting period of action! Brandis taking a breather. A short uppercut from Brandis. Brandis blocks an uppercut.
Brandis is struggling to control the position. Routh's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Brandis scores with a shoulder strike. Brandis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Routh's efforts to push away. Brandis works on Routh's body with a couple of short punches.#T3# Nice body punch from Brandis - that landed with a thud.
Routh is breathing heavily. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brandis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Brandis prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Routh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brandis lands a body shot. Brandis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Brandis is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Brandis keeps control of Routh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Brandis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Routh up against the cage.#T4# Brandis lands a body shot. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Brandis. Brandis tries to break the clinch but Routh is controlling the position. A left hand lands to the body for Brandis.
Brandis effectively controlling the action here. A shot in the inside from Brandis. Come on Brandis - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Brandis has Routh pushed against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brandis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Fletch Brandis. Brandis lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Routh backs up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fletch Brandis dominated that round. The cut man is working on Peter Routh's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Brandis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Routh was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.#CL# Routh gets a clinch. Brandis stalls. Routh with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Brandis. A left hand lands to the body for Brandis.
#BC2# Brandis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fletch Brandis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sloppy strikes from Brandis. Those never looked like landing. Routh misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brandis throws a right and a left that Routh avoids nicely. Brandis misses with an attempted mid kick.
Routh tries to counter with a takedown but Brandis is quick to defend against it. Brandis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Routh momentarily.
Routh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brandis. Peter Routh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brandis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Routh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#T1# Brandis connects with a nice cross there... Routh is looking wobbly and Brandis recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Routh to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Brandis jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

#R1# Madrox throws out a powerful jab. Madrox throws a head kick but Routh moves out of range.
Routh tries to counter with a clinch but Madrox shakes him off and moves away.#CL# Madrox gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Routh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Madrox walks away with a smile on his face. Routh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Madrox misses with a double jab.
Despite the aggression on Routh's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Madrox jabs at Routh's body. Routh is looking to clinch but Madrox is avoiding it.
Madrox connects with a right that clearly hurt Routh. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Madrox proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Routh collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Madrox! The defeated Peter Routh had this to say: 'Unlucky loss for myself but next time i fight i will win '.

Salazar is defending well against a takedown attempt. Routh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salazar smiles and moves away.
Teddy Salazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Routh.#CL# Salazar moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salazar lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Salazar just leaning against Routh, taking a breather. Routh tries for a takedown. No joy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Salazar misses with a hook. Routh ducked under it nicely. Oh Salazar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Routh lands a brutal uppercut that launches Salazar off his feet! Salazar tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
