#R1# Afa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kayser eats them both and turns towards Afa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Afa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Afa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kayser circles away quickly and effectively. Kayser looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Afa misses with a double jab
and Kayser makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#KD2# Afa drops Kayser with a right and a left! Afa comes rushing in but Kayser regains his composure and manages to keep Afa in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kayser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Afa postures up in Kayser's guard and throws a big left but Kayser blocks it. #CUT# It looks like Konrad Afa has been cut. Kayser shoots in looking for a takedown. Afa tries to sprawl out of it but Kayser keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Afa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zane Kayser. That's going to take a lot out of him. Afa misses with a jab, cross combination.

That was a close round but I would say that Zane Kayser will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Konrad Afa's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Afa fails to land with a series of punches.
