Ramadao closes this distance looking for a takedown but LaRusso circles away.
LaRusso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ramadao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
LaRusso lunges at Ramadao with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ramadao's hand.
No joy there for Ramadao, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
LaRusso swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ramadao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but LaRusso defends well and Ramadao ends up having to push LaRusso into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that LaRusso has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Jony Ramadao has been cut.
LaRusso throws a pinpoint strike between Ramadao's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Ramadao crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and LaRusso scores a great knockout victory!
