#R1# Angle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dizer as he jumps to the side. Kurt Angle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dizer is looking to chop away at Angle's legs. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Angle is defended easily by Dizer. Dizer is looking to counter punch. Angle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dizer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Angle scrambles back to his feet.#TD2# Angle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dizer was covering up waiting for the punch and Angle finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dizer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angle controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Angle stopping the sweep attempt from Dizer. Dizer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angle on the ground.#SUB2# Angle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #T1# Angle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Angle's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dizer trying to keep a closed guard but Angle is proving a slippery customer.
Angle stands and throws Dizer's legs to the side, diving into side control. Angle controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dizer is trying to get back to half guard.#SUB2# Angle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dizer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Angle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dizer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Angle lets go of the hold and Dizer can pop his arm back in it's socket.
