#R1# Nice takedown defense from Salvador. No joy for Khamedd on that attempt. Salvador connects with a nice looking jab.
Khamedd fails with a takedown attempt. Salvador bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khamedd's head backwards. Khamedd misses with a takedown attempt and Salvador counters with a big right hand! Oh Khamedd is in trouble here! Salvador follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

#R1# Kingston misses with a takedown attempt and Salvador counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice uppercut there from Salvador. Salvador fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kingston on the side of the head. Kingston shoots for a takedown but Salvador saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kingston has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kingston there as he acknowledges the shot. Kingston tries for a takedown but Salvador circles away easily and Salvador cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Kingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kingston staying out of range there. Salvador lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Salvador scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salvador misses with the combination.

Salvador changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kingston with a poor takedown and Salvador counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Salvador scores with a sloppy right hand. Kingston should have avoided that one. Kingston shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Salvador connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A swing and a miss from Kingston. Salvador lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kingston misses with a takedown attempt and Salvador counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #T2# A jab from Salvador does it's job there. Kingston bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Salvador looks to land a left hand but Kingston moved out of range nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Salvador scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Salvador loads up on a big right hand but Kingston slips the punch. Kingston attempts a counter takedown but Salvador avoids it well and moves away. Salvador missing with a left hand there. Kingston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A jab from Salvador does it's job there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Salvador, as that shot connected.

Kingston is breathing heavily.#T3# Kingston tries to score with some ground and pound. Salvador controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Salvador tries to get back to half guard but can't. Salvador can't do much from the bottom here. Salvador is looking to reverse the position. Salvador really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kingston trying to control the position but Salvador is working away. Salvador parries the strikes from Kingston easily there. Kingston is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Salvador to escape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Salvador can do anything to dispel that myth. Salvador trying to remain calm as Kingston controls from the top position. Salvador is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kingston connects with a decent elbow. Salvador is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kingston trying to control the action but Salvador is working from the bottom. Salvador can't do much from the bottom here. Thomas Kingston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salvador cracks a nice hook into Kingston's ribs. Salvador lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kingston gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Salvador to counter with a crisp jab. #ROC2# Kingston is rocked! Kingston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salvador avoids it really well and circles away. Salvador appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Emanuel Salvador seems to be getting the better of the standup.#T3# Salvador lands a really nice looking cross but Kingston seems unphased.

Will he be able to recover?!!#T4# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kingston is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Salvador just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Kingston has gone limp and this one is over!

#R1# Scorcho throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Salvador sees it coming and avoids it easily. Salvador let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Scorcho swings for the body but Salvador moves out of range.
It seemed like Salvador was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Salvador lands a nice shot that snaps Scorcho's head back.
Scorcho missing with a left hand there. Salvador was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Scorcho. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Salvador! But no joy. Scorcho throws a low kick, looking for Salvador's leg but Salvador calmly moves out of range. Salvador lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Scorcho misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvador showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Scorcho.
