We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fodetudo looks to land a left hand but Grove moved out of range nicely. Grove shoots for a takedown but Fodetudo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#T1# Fodetudo throws a shot from downtown. Grove moves away and avoids it. Grove walks into a jab. Grove looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Grove uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fodetudo. Nice straight punches there by Fodetudo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fodetudo. Grove uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fodetudo.

Grove shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sidney Grove. Sidney Grove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grove shoots in for a takedown but Fodetudo shows good takedown defense. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grove connects with a nice short shot to Fodetudo's temple. Grove leaves Jutsu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grove throwing a counter right hand but Jutsu manages to avoid it. Grove is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jutsu.
