Szulcu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boothe sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Boothe wants to control but Szulcu postures up. Szulcu controls the position. Szulcu throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Szulcu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boothe sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Szulcu landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Szulcu wants to stand but Boothe has his arm trapped. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Szulcu taking a breather here. Tarasov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Szulcu tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tarasov manages to circle out of the way. Tarasov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Szulcu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tarasov.
Szulcu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Szulcu tries to clinch but Tarasov moves out of range. Tarasov blocks a head kick by Szulcu.
Szulcu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ivan Tarasov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tarasov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Lechu Szulcu has been cut. Szulcu slaps away a takedown attempt from Builider, before circling back to the center of the mat. Szulcu unleashes a big counter combination but Builider bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Builider circles away from the clinch attempt and Builider counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #TD2# Szulcu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Builider on his heels. He'll look to pass Builider's guard now, I'm sure.#ES# Builider has his feet on Szulcu's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Builider fails with an attempt to clinch.
