#R1# Parsons throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gfabha's waist but Gfabha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Parsons off to one side. Gfabha clobbers Parsons with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #CUT2# It looks like Graig Parsons has been cut.#TD2# Gfabha darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gfabha looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Gfabha tries to stand but his arm is trapped. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parsons regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gfabha. Parsons looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T1# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parsons is on top in guard.
#REVR# Parsons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Parsons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gfabha controls Parsons momentarily but Parsons frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parsons landing with the ground and pound. Parsons distracts Gfabha with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#ES2# Gfabha pushes Parsons off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. #TD2# Gfabha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parsons's guard.#ES# Parsons scrambles and gets back to his feet.
#T2# We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#TD2# Gfabha shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gfabha was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gfabha trying to control the position but Parsons is working away. Parsons is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Parsons gets back to half guard.#T3# Parsons is trying to maintain the position but Gfabha is very close to passing his half guard. Gfabha tries to pass the half guard into mount. Parsons knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Parsons is looking to control Gfabha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parsons avoid being mounted?#SUB2# Gfabha is looking for a kimura here.
Gfabha wants to take a breather but Parsons is having none of it. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gfabha wants to free his trapped foot but Parsons is holding on for dear life with his legs. #SU2# Gfabha decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. #TD# Parsons decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Parsons lands a nice short elbow. Parsons is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gfabha tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Parsons seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Graig Parsons will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Graig Parsons's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Parsons enables Gfabha to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Parsons manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Parsons bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gfabha's guard. #REVR# Gfabha keeping moving, preventing Parsons from controlling successfully. #SU# Gfabha is working an open guard so Parsons takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gfabha tries to clinch but Parsons is having none of it. #TD2# Gfabha feints and as Parsons raises his hands in defense, Gfabha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Parsons will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SUB# Parsons looking for a guillotine here but Gfabha defends easily.
Gfabha trying to control but Parsons is working from the bottom. #T1# Gfabha preventing the sweep. #SUB2# Gfabha postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Parsons is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gfabha, into his guard. #REVR# Graig Parsons overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parsons won't allow Gfabha to sweep him here. #SU# Parsons decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# Gfabha scores with a takedown into Parsons's guard.#T2# Gfabha stops Parsons from standing up. Gfabha must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Parsons is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Gfabha is not content to let Parsons control the position. Parsons perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Parsons landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Parsons missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gfabha is refusing to be controlled, as Parsons sits in half guard. #T3# Gfabha trying to hold on to Parsons's head to control him but Parsons postures up.

You can see the frustration on Parsons's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Parsons tries to improve position but can't. Parsons sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Parsons keeps control of the position for the meantime. Gfabha is looking to stall here but Parsons recovers full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parsons trying to keep a closed guard but Gfabha is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gfabha trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gfabha throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Gfag Gfabha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Graig Parsons is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gfabha avoids the attempt from Parsons to control.
