Nayak looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Romek misses with a low kick. Romek fakes the leg kick and cracks Nayak in the body. Romek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nayak swivels and escapes. Romek shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nayak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nayak thuds his right hand into Romek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A left and a right from Nayak both land. Nice combination. Nayak connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nayak lands a really nice looking cross but Romek seems unphased.

Romek drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Romek shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Nayak to counter with a crisp jab. Nayak getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Romek takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Romek throws an overhand right that lands on Nayak's shoulder, as Nayak tries to avoid the shot. Romek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. #R1##TD2# Romek gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Knorr trying to control the position from guard on top but Romek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Romek can't keep his opponent in guard - Knorr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Romek wants to control but Knorr is keeping busy and won't allow it. #SUB2# Romek is trying to control Knorr's posture. Knorr takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Romek! Knorr is rotating here... this could be the end... Romek is out! Knorr has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

and Allen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've been hearing reports that Allen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Allen.
Romek tries to clinch but Allen moves out of range. #TD# Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Romek regains half guard.#SUB# Allen is looking for a kimura here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Allen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Allen landing strikes from the mount and Romek is in trouble! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Allen in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
