Donovan is working hard here to advance position. Kovalskii forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Donovan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kovalskii is working away from the top position though.#SUB2# Kovalskii has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Donovan defend it? Kovalskii steps over the head and cranks it - Donovan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kovalskii!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pan Kovalskii!
