#R1# Johnson connects with the punch. Savage throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Savage throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Johnson dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out. Savage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Savage. Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Savage pushes him off. Savage misses with a straight right. Savage throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson. Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Savage. Nice sprawl there from Savage as Johnson shoots in. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Sinner Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Johnson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savage scores with a nice right hand.
#T1# Savage misses with a straight right. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson. Sinner Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson moves out of range as Savage strikes. Johnson wants to counter the offense by Savage and move into the clinch position. Savage misses with a hook. Savage lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Savage misses with a hook
enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab. Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Savage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice jab there from Savage. Johnson has a takedown stuffed.#T2# Savage lands the left hand.#CUT# It looks like John Johnson has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Savage swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Savage scores with a hook to the body. Johnson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Johnson looks winded! Johnson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Savage. Johnson is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Savage scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Johnson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Savage misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming. Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Savage takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Savage circles away from the clinch attempt and Savage cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#ROC# Johnson is rocked!#T3# Savage drops Johnson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Savage follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

#R1##CL2# Johnson clinches up against the cage. Parrish throws a knee to the head but misses.
#TD# Parrish successfully pulls guard.
Parrish pulls Johnson in to control the position. Parrish trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#SUB# Parrish working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Parrish preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnson stopping the sweep attempt from Parrish. Parrish pulls Johnson in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson stands up over Parrish, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Parrish pulls Johnson in close to his closed guard and prevents Johnson from doing any damage or advancing position.#SUB# Parrish has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.#T1##SUB# Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Parrish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parrish trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Parrish is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Johnson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Johnson is stalling in the full guard. Parrish is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Parrish arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
