Strowman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Borislav works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #SUB2# Borislav is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Strowman defends well. Strowman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Borislav looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Strowman won't allow Borislav to sweep him here. Strowman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Strowman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Strowman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #R1# Bell sizes up Strowman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. #CUT2# It looks like Braun Strowman has been cut. Strowman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Strowman. Bell with the counter takedown but Strowman avoids it easily. Nice defenses there by Strowman. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Strowman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bell with the counter takedown but Strowman avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Braun Strowman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Strowman swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strowman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bell but Bell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bell tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#TD# Strowman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bell's guard.#ES2# Bell manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#T4# Bell avoiding damage.

That will dishearten Thai somewhat. Thai shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strowman sprawls well. Strowman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thai gets slowly back to his feet. Strowman feints the counter takedown. A good leg kick by Thai. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strowman stuffs the takedown. Strowman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Thai defends it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maui Thai.
