Christianson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Valhalla Training Camp in the buildup to the fight.
Christianson is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Ichisake flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ichisake is out cold! Christianson holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ichisake uses his free foot to push down on Mcdonald's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcdonald.

Ichisake is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mcdonald with him. Mcdonald is trying to defend but Ichisake has an arm under the chin now! Mcdonald grimaces and is forced to tap out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
