Tanner is looking to stand up but San isn't so interested in that idea. Tanner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. San stays in close to Tanner's body and controls the position. #SUB# Tanner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. San doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. San manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. San must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tanner trying to strike off his back.

Top Shelf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tanner tries to clinch but Shelf is having none of it. Tanner is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Shelf.#CUT2# It looks like Rex Tanner has been cut. Tanner looks for a takedown but Shelf sprawls well.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Shelf has knocked Tanner down with a huge combo! Shelf steps away and waves a wobbly Tanner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Tanner is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shelf wobbles Tanner with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Shelf dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Tanner to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Morriz advances to half guard. Morriz stalling. Tanner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tanner misses with some strikes from the bottom.
