It seemed like Vega was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Vega checks the leg kick nicely there.
Knocksville misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vega throws a good cross that connects.
Knocksville throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vega's waist but Vega gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knocksville off to one side.
Vega cracks Knocksville with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.#CUT2#
It looks like Bob Knocksville has been cut.

and Vega counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vega leaves Pripyat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It looks like Karelin Pripyat has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karelin Pripyat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vega circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pripyat to the canvas! Pripyat doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Vega keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Vega lands a left and a right that send Salazar crashing to the mat, dazed. Vega thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT2#
It looks like Teddy Salazar has been cut.
Vega pounces like a tiger and cracks Salazar with a vicious hook! Salazar is down but not out! Vega follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Randy Vega decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Vega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vega sneaks out the side door and pushes Thompson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Thompson swats away the attempt to clinch by Vega.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Vega comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Thompson stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Vega is on him like rabid pit bull! Thompson slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
