#R1# Ukko slips a jab from Yaga. Yaga tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ukko was well out of range. Poor timing from Yaga. Ukko is looking to counter punch. Ukko lands a nice looking body shot.
Yaga dodges the punch combination from Ukko.
#CL2# Yaga forces Ukko back against the cage and clinches. Ukko wants a takedown but no success here.
Yaga is trying to drag Ukko to the mat but Ukko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ukko gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yaga.
Yaga is looking to take this one to the mat. Suresho Ukko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baba Yaga.#TD# Ukko gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.#T1# Still in half guard, Ukko seems content to control. Yaga flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Ukko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ukko trying to mount his opponent but Yaga defends it. Yaga missing with punches from the bottom.
Yaga flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ukko is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ukko blocks the strikes from Yaga.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Well, if Ukko is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#T3# Yaga gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Yaga tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ukko is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Yaga buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Yaga!! Yaga is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ukko throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

#R1# Ukko misses with a leg kick and Rand counters with a three punch combo that has Ukko backing up. Ukko nods at Rand to acknowledge the strikes. Ukko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ukko wants it to stay on the feet. Ukko misses with a double jab.
Ukko falls off balance throwing a combination
#TD2# and Rand counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ukko avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rand. Ukko looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rand wants to control but Ukko is keeping him busy. #ES# Ukko has one foot on Rand's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rand dodges the punch combination from Ukko.
#T1# Rand moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rand is looking to clinch but Ukko is avoiding it.
#KD# Ukko sends Rand crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ukko is motioning to the referee to let Rand up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC# Rand is rocked! Rand tries to land a front kick but Ukko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Rand is still on wobbly legs! Can Ukko finish him? A big left from Rand misses. Rand seems to have recovered his senses. Ukko lands with a right and another and another! Rand is in big trouble! Ukko lands again and this time it's lights out for Rand! A quality knockout there for Ukko.

#R1##KD# Oooooh!!! Ukko has knocked Sutphin down with a huge combo! Ukko steps away and waves a wobbly Sutphin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT# It looks like Arnold Sutphin has been cut. Sutphin shoots for a double leg takedown but Ukko sprawls well. He's pushed Sutphin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sutphin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sutphin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ukko but Ukko pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice body punch from Ukko. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Ukko misses. Sutphin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Suresho Ukko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnold Sutphin. Ukko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

We've been told by Ukko's head coaches at Shinto Elite MMA Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sutphin looks winded!#KD# Ukko lands a big right hand that sends Sutphin crashing to the mat! Ukko stays standing though and waves Sutphin back to his feet!#ROC# Sutphin is rocked! Ukko sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Sutphin's defenses. It connects perfectly with Sutphin's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

#R1# Ukko walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wolf checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. The fight stays on the outside here - Wolf looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ukko throws a right and a left that both miss. Ukko thuds a left hand into Wolf's body. A combination from Ukko does no damage. Suresho Ukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wolf tries to clinch there but Ukko circles away.
Ukko appears to be looking for a big counter. Wolf fails in his attempt to clinch. Wolf tries to clinch but Ukko moves away and Ukko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ukko throws a body shot but no joy. #KD# Oooooh!!! Ukko has knocked Wolf down with a huge combo! Ukko steps away and waves a wobbly Wolf back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. He thinks about going to the ground but Wolf looks back up at him and smiles so Ukko waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ukko lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Wolf out cold! Wolf is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ukko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ukko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ukko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ukko looks to score with a jab to the body but Hillson is just out of range. Ukko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hillson counters with a two punch combo. Ukko throws a combination that misses and Hillson counters with a two punch combo. Ukko fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hillson checks it well. Hillson misses with a double jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hillson drops his hands for a split second and Ukko immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Hillson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ukko follows up with a right hand that knocks Hillson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

and Gibson counters with a head kick. That will keep Ukko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Ukko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ukko.#CUT# It looks like Spike Gibson has been cut. Ukko drops Gibson with a huge uppercut! Gibson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ukko is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Suresho Ukko! Suresho Ukko very nearly forgot to thank SHINTO amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. In defeat, Spike Gibson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Whatever he did hard work out there.'.

Wilkinson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ukko lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Wilkinson is looking to close the distance but Ukko sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Wilkinson crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Wilkinson is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
