#R1##CL2# Kaufman gets tackled into the cage by Cage. Cage maintains the clinch. Kaufman is struggling to control the position. Kaufman is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Cage jumps guard but Kaufman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Cage is pushing Kaufman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Cage tries to pull guard but Kaufman holds him up against the cage and eventually Cage drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaufman is trying to drag Cage to the mat but Cage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD2# Cage gets a trip takedown into half guard. Cage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1# Kaufman is looking for a sweep. Cage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Still in half guard, Cage seems content to control.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#SUB2# Cage has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kaufman defend it? Cage steps over the head and cranks it - Kaufman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chris Cage!
