#R1# Workman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kio tries to avoid it but Workman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kio to the ground. Kio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kio throws a fast counter high kick but Workman manages to duck under it in time. Workman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kio sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Workman somewhat. Kio moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. #CL2# Workman gets tackled into the cage by Kio. Kio maintains the clinch. Workman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kio pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burton Workman. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Kio throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Workman was covering up waiting for the punch and Kio finishes the takedown easily into guard. Workman keeping moving, preventing Kio from controlling successfully. #T1# Workman wants to sweep here but Kio controlling him for the moment. Workman has a closed guard, preventing Kio from standing up. #SU2# Workman is working an open guard so Kio takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD2# Kio scores with a takedown into Workman's guard. Kio wants to take a breather but Workman is having none of it. Workman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kio scores with a couple of nice shots. Workman trying to hold on to Kio's head to control him but Kio postures up.

Workman tries to improve his position but instead Kio has taken his back! Kio is hanging on to Workman's back as he tries to escape.

Cyrus Kio dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2##TD2# Kio fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Workman sprawls well initially but Kio persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Workman is refusing to be controlled, as Kio sits in half guard. Workman gets back to full guard.

Kio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kio manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Workman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Cyrus Kio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3# Kio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Workman looks to land a combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kio controlling from side mount. Workman tries to buck Kio off but Kio is having none of it. Cyrus Kio has got the better of the ground game so far.#SU2# Kio decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T1##CL2# Kio moves into the clinch. Kio misses with a hook from the clinch. Kio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Workman has him pressed against the cage. Workman has Kio pressed against the cage, preventing Kio from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kio is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#TD2# Kio has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Workman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#SUB2# Kio tightening his grip on Workman, looking for the choke. Workman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kio takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kio's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minger is working Workman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Workman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Workman drops his hands momentarily and Rouge needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Workman just on the top of the head. Workman drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Workman - he's done!
