Ciocan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ez nods at Burks to acknowledge the strikes.#TD2# Ez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ez is looking to stand up but Burks won't let him. Ez preventing the sweep. Ez controlling from the top position. Burks keeping moving, preventing Ez from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Burks is working an open guard so Ez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Burks enables Ez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Burks manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Burks has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ez has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#T1##BC2# Ez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ez misses with a head kick.

Burks is looking to clinch but Imum is avoiding it.

Burks manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Shield tries to throw a body punch but Burks avoids it by throwing Shield back against the cage. Shield is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Burks to keep the fight standing. Shield jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Burks walks away with a smile on his face. Shield gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Shield tries to clinch #TD# and Burks counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Burks. Shield wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Burks manages to pass to side control. #REVB##SUB# Burks maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura.
