#R1# Olaf throws out a powerful jab. Rivers tries to clinch up but Olaf circles away and keeps his distance. Rivers shoots in for a takedown but Olaf shows good takedown defense. Olaf gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Rivers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Rivers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rivers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Olaf finds it's way round the side to connect with Rivers's head. #CUT2# It looks like Walter Rivers has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivers moves in looking to clinch but Olaf pushes him off. Rivers tries to close the distance and clinch but Olaf swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rivers throws a right and a left that Olaf avoids nicely. Olaf let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Sloppy strikes from Olaf. Those never looked like landing. #T1# Rivers gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Olaf gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Rivers is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jurek Olaf! Walter Rivers spoke after the fight, saying 'This isn't the end for me, Back to the mats for now...Look for me on the flipside!'.

#R1##TD# Rivers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hatfield to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hatfield trying to control but Rivers is working from the bottom. Hatfield being controlled here momentarily. Hatfield is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rivers wants to get back to his feet but Hatfield is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hatfield postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hatfield wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatfield with a flurry of punches that miss. #SUB2# Rivers looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rivers wants to sweep here but Hatfield controlling him for the moment. Rivers being controlled here, momentarily. #T1##SUB2# Rivers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hatfield defends it easily. Rivers trying to keep a closed guard but Hatfield is proving a slippery customer.
Hatfield wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving. #SUB2# Hatfield throws a sloppy strike and Rivers has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Hatfield is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Rivers!
