Lazarvic attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Day is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Lazarvic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Day defends well and Lazarvic ends up having to push Day into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Day throws a lazy head kick and Lazarvic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Day defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lazarvic. Day throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcpherson wants to control but Day is keeping busy and won't allow it. Day not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mcpherson really is a fat lump. Mcpherson trying to control here.
Mcpherson works his way to full guard. Good work. Day keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcpherson's head. Day scoring with some ground and pound. #R1# Day with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand! A big right from Jones misses. It looked like Day was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Day with a poor takedown and Day takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Day takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A swing and a miss from Jones. Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Day. It looked like Day was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones. Day misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Day throws a sloppy head kick and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones slips under a jab from Day. Day takes one on the button. Day takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Day to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Day looks to clinch but Jones throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Day taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Barry Jones seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
