Connolly scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johnson doesn't seem bothered though.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Connolly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Connolly from any more punishment! Connolly complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Well Fu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
