Bender keeping moving, preventing Weathers from controlling successfully. Weathers looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bender might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weathers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bender's head.#T1# Bender keeping full guard, as Weathers tries to pass. Bender looking to hit a scissor sweep but Weathers is one step ahead there. Weathers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qiang tries to bum rush Weathers with a series of wild strikes but Weathers uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Qiang shoots in looking for a takedown. Weathers tries to sprawl out of it but Qiang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weathers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Weathers tries to counter with a takedown but Qiang is quick to defend against it. Qiang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Qiang misses with a takedown attempt #CL# and Weathers moves into the clinch. Qiang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Weathers has him pressed against the cage. Mcneil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Weathers tries to clinch up but Mcneil circles away and keeps his distance. Mcneil stuffs the takedown. Mcneil throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Weathers counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Weathers tried to score with a low kick but Mcneil checks it. Mcneil misses with a wild combination.

#R1# Weathers looks for a takedown but Hansen sprawls well. Carl Weathers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weathers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hansen defends it nicely. Weathers throws a sloppy head kick and Hansen moves out of range easily. #TD2# Weathers drives through with a takedown into Hansen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hansen wants to stand and escape but Weathers is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#ES# Hansen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#TD2# Weathers gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
