We've been hearing reports that Seventeen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Valuev jabbing away but nothing is landing. A slow jab from Valuev misses its intended target. Valuev looks to throw the jab but Seventeen is out of range. Seventeen throws a series of punches but Valuev avoids them all with ease. Valuev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seventeen . Seventeen feints a jab promting Valuev to slip. Seventeen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Valuev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT# It looks like Miko Valuev has been cut. Seventeen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Seventeen drops Valuev with a naaaaasty hook - Valuev is in real trouble here! Seventeen dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Wilson's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wilson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Some wild striking there from Valuev.

Chizzle seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Valuev lands a jab-cross combination. #CUT2# It looks like Derek Chizzle has been cut. Chizzle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chizzle is looking for a counter combo. Chizzle defending well as Valuev loads up on a big left hand. Chizzle lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Valuev misses with a left hand #CL# and Chizzle counters by moving into the clinch. #BC2# Valuev breaks from the clinch.
Chizzle moves out of range of the strikes. Chizzle feinted with a counter takedown. The fighters circle momentarily. Valuev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Valuev steps in with a hook that catches Chizzle right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Valuev follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Chizzle looks absolutely devastated.
