Mehmet crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Girard - the referee stops the clock and Mehmet gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Girard. Mehmet manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Girard moves out of range as Mehmet strikes. Mehmet misses with a hook to the body
and Girard counters with an inside leg kick. Mehmet slips under a jab. Girard scores with a head kick. Mehmet tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#CUT2# It looks like Cenk Mehmet has been cut. Mehmet throws a hook to the side of Girard's head but Girard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mehmet misses with a lunging right hand
and Girard counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Girard scoring well with a low kick there.
