#R1# A combination from Ross does no damage. Guerrero shoots in for a takedown but Ross shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Guerrero defending well as Ross loads up on a big left hand. Some wild striking there from Ross.

Ross throws a series of punches but Guerrero avoids them all with ease. Guerrero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ross leaves Guerrero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bob Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Guerrero. Ross keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guerrero shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ross counters with a nice body shot. Ross looks to land a combination but Guerrero avoids it well. A combination from Ross does no damage. #T1# Ross lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Guerrero circles away quickly and effectively. Guerrero doesn't manage to clinch there - Ross circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Guerrero. Those never looked like landing. Ross misses with a few strikes there.
Ross definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ross will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ross wants to slow Guerrero down by chopping away at his legs. Guerrero looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ross moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ross swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Guerrero fails with a takedown attempt.#T2##KD# Ross lands a left and a right that send Guerrero crashing to the mat, dazed. Ross thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guerrero moves away. Guerrero throws a counter combo. Ross throws a series of punches but Guerrero moves out of range. Guerrero dodges the punch combination from Ross.
#TD# Ross closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Guerrero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ross. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ross scoring with punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guerrero on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Ross is chipping away with strikes.

He's slapped it on tight and Guerrero is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ross! Very nice indeed!
