#R1# Durnin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Durnin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Valuev sees it coming and avoids it easily. Durnin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Despite the aggression on Valuev's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Durnin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valuev manages to avoid it. Durnin lands with a good body shot. Valuev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Durnin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Valuev scrambles back to his feet. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durnin, as that shot connected.
Durnin looks to score with a jab to the body but Valuev is just out of range. Durnin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Valuev unleashes a big counter combination but Durnin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the liver by Durnin. Beautiful body shot. Valuev tries to move into range but Durnin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Durnin cracks Valuev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.#T1# Durnin swings for the body but Valuev moves out of range.

#R1# Leo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Valuev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leo. As Leo looks to move away, Valuev throws a big counter combo but Leo just gets out of the way. Leo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Valuev.

Sloppy strikes from Leo. Those never looked like landing. Leo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Valuev. The fighters circle momentarily. Leo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.#T1# Valuev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leo throws out the jab. Leo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Leo throws a body punch but Valuev moves out of range. #KD# and Valuev counters with a crisp one two that drops Leo! Valuev thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Leo to his feet! Leo is in big trouble! Leo swings widly with a right hand
and Valuev counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Leo badly! Valuev follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Leo out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Valuev finished him against the cage.

#R1# Valuev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Gladiator lands with a hook. Valuev tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Valuev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Gladiator moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A counter left hand to the body from The Gladiator misses its target. Valuev misses with a few strikes there.
Valuev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Valuev lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The Gladiator slips a jab and a cross from Valuev.
The Gladiator was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Valuev misses with a double jab.
Valuev throws a combination that misses and The Gladiator counters with a stiff right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! No joy there for Valuev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling The Gladiator to score with a decent uppercut. The Gladiator definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
