Ellison takes a shot right to the bread basket. Byrgen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #TD2# Byrgen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ellison napping and manages to drive through into side control! Byrgen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ellison parries the strikes from Byrgen easily there. Byrgen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ellison to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Ellison's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB2# Byrgen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #T1# Byrgen controls the position. Ellison prevents Byrgen from moving into mount. The ground and pound from Byrgen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Ellison wants to control but Byrgen postures up. Ellison is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Byrgen happy to just control the position for now. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Byrgen manages to end up in side control. Ellison regains half guard. Byrgen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Byrgen wants to take a breather but Ellison is having none of it. Byrgen wants to stand but Ellison has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacques Ellison. Well Byrgen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. #R1##TD2# Torvi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ellison tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Torvi is in Ellison's guard. Torvi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ellison keeping full guard, as Torvi tries to pass. #SUB# Ellison looking for a guillotine here but Torvi defends easily.
Torvi wanted to stand there but Ellison had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Torvi controls from within his opponent's guard. #T1# Torvi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ellison can't keep his opponent in guard - Torvi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #R1# Ellison is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ngannou.#CUT2# It looks like Jacques Ellison has been cut. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.#CL2# Ngannou clinches with his opponent.
Ngannou stalls. #BC# Ellison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ngannou throws a right and a left that Ellison avoids nicely. Ellison misses with a takedown attempt and Ngannou counters with a one-two to the body. Ellison shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ngannou defends it nicely. Ngannou appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Francis Ngannou is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# A solid body kick from Ellison. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ngannou, as that shot connected.

#T2# Ngannou scores with a nice head shot. Ellison gets off balance looking for a body kick#CL2# and Ngannou moves into the clinch. Ngannou blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ellison trying to land knees to the body.

Ellison takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ellison could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T3# Ngannou scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.#CL2# Ngannou drives through and clinches with Ellison against the cage.

Ngannou throws a nice looking combination but Ellison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ngannou dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ellison fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacques Ellison. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T4# Ellison needs to keep his hands up - Ngannou had a free shot at his head there.#ROC2# Ellison is rocked! Ellison doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ellison is breathing heavily. Ngannou looks to land a body kick but Ellison moved away. Ngannou batters Ellison with a massive right followed by a huge left! Ellison is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Ngannou lands a final crushing right hand to drop Ellison to the mat with a gruesome thud! Ngannou is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

#R1# Drillere throws a series of punches but Ellison moves out of range. Drillere tries to clinch up. Ellison appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Drillere throws a shot to the body.
Drillere cracks the inside of Ellison's front leg. Drillere gets off balance looking for a body kick#TD# so Ellison counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Drillere wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ellison manages to pass to side control. #REVB# Ellison prevents Drillere from standing back up.
#SUB# Ellison is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Drillere sees it coming and defends easily. Ellison working the head and body with strikes. #T1##SUB# Ellison is looking for a kimura but Drillere is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ellison to get the leverage. Ellison thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Drillere's head. Ellison seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ellison scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ellison missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. #SUB# Drillere is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Ellison has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Drillere is tapping! This fight is all over!

Ellison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dahrhaamer scores with a jab to the body.#TD2# Dahrhaamer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ellison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dahrhaamer throws a strike aimed at the side of Ellison's head but Ellison avoids it well. Dahrhaamer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Dahrhaamer tries to score with some ground and pound. Ellison controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dahrhaamer controlling the position from side mount. Dahrhaamer working away. Dahrhaamer landing a few strikes. #CUT2# It looks like Jacques Ellison has been cut.#T1# Dahrhaamer trying to control the action but Ellison is working from the bottom. Dahrhaamer is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Let's hope that Dahrhaamer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dahrhaamer is looking to take a break and control but Ellison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ellison struggling a bit here.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dahrhaamer happy to just control the position for now. Dahrhaamer in side control, throwing shots but Ellison defends. Dahrhaamer is staying tight to Ellison's torso, preventing him from escaping. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ellison has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dahrhaamer finds it's way round the side to connect with Ellison's head. Dahrhaamer misses the shot to the body. Ellison takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dahrhaamer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #SUB2# Ellison is defending against the submission attempts here by Dahrhaamer.

Ellison regains full guard. Nicely done. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dahrhaamer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ellison controlling the position. Dahrhaamer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dahrhaamer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ellison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dahrhaamer's corner is telling him to maintain position.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
