#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Hetherington. Pinkerton seems a little lost for a moment, as Hetherington dominates the positioning. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hetherington works to advance to full mount. Pinkerton defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Hetherington controlling the pace for now. Hetherington landing shots from mount. BOOM! Hetherington connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hetherington in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Hetherington is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hetherington manages to kick Pinkerton off! Pinkerton jumps back into Hetherington's guard. Pinkerton won't allow Hetherington to sweep him here. Pinkerton tries to free his leg and advance position but Hetherington is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hetherington is on top in guard.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#TD# Pinkerton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hetherington connects with a couple of short punches. Hetherington works over Pinkerton with some ground and pound from guard. Pinkerton can't keep his opponent in guard - Hetherington advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hetherington lands with a punch from half guard. Hetherington passes the guard and advances to mount! Hetherington looking to finish Pinkerton with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pinkerton! Hetherington putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hetherington connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Pinkerton seems to have recovered his senses.#T1# Pinkerton is looking to regain half guard here but Hetherington keeps moving and retains side control. Hetherington creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.#SUB# Hetherington working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hetherington is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pinkerton will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hetherington cracks Pinkerton with a big elbow.
