#R1# Callaway tries to clinch but fails miserably and Grimey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Grimey misses with a looping left. Callaway throws a counter high kick but Grimey was just alert enough to avoid it. Grimey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
#CUT2# It looks like Gary Callaway has been cut. A jab lands there for Grimey. Grimey lands a really nice looking cross but Callaway seems unphased.
#CL# Callaway has closed the distance and engaged Grimey in a clinch.
Grimey misses with the head strike.
Grimey keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Callaway's efforts to push away. Our sources have told us that Callaway has been working on his elbows in the gym. Callaway is looking to break free of the clinch but Grimey has double underhooks. Grimey has a couple of punches blocked by Callaway.
Grimey lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right from Grimey on the inside. This has been an exciting period of action! Callaway is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.#T1# Grimey throws an elbow but it misses.

Oh Callaway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Grimey's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Grimey lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Callaway to his knees! Grimey keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oliavo is defended easily by Callaway. Oliavo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Oliavo closes the distance but Callaway moves to the side and Callaway connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT# It looks like Josue Oliavo has been cut.#CL2# Oliavo moves into range and clinches up with Callaway. Oliavo misses with an elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for Oliavo to work.
Oliavo is trying to push Callaway away but Callaway has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#BC# Callaway breaks the clinch.

Callaway keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gary Callaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josue Oliavo. Oliavo closes the distance but Callaway moves to the side and Callaway counters with a huge left! Oliavo is in big trouble! He's backing up but Callaway isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Oliavo from any more damage. A dominating finish by Callaway!

Gary Callaway decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

No joy there for Callaway, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Callaway tries to get set, Batard tries to push him back and clinch up but Callaway manages to avoid the attempt. Callaway has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Batard is landing a low percentage of strikes. Callaway tries to close the distance and clinch up but Batard swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diego Batard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Batard looks to land a combination but Callaway avoids it well. Batard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Batard throws a head kick that Callaway semi-blocks.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Diego Batard. I think Callaway has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heath is defended easily by Callaway. Heath shoots in for a takedown but Callaway shows good takedown defense. Despite the aggression on Callaway's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Gary Callaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Callaway Throws a clean left jab. Callaway Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Heath's chin! Heath crumbles to the ground and Callaway follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Callaway!

Callaway tries to get to full guard but Masters has control of the leg. Callaway is working hard here to advance position. Masters is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Masters scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Callaway taking some punishment here, with Masters in his half guard. Masters frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Callaway is wriggling around trying to escape.
