The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcknight not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. May has hold of Mcknight's hands but Mcknight slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. May is looking to improve his position.

Truman Mcknight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douma May. Mcknight lands with a right hand. The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though. May tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcknight swivels and escapes. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcknight manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. May shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mcknight moves to clinch but May breaks away and May counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though. May has a closed guard, preventing Mcknight from standing up. #SU# Mcknight gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #T3##TD# Mcknight feints and as May raises his hands in defense, Mcknight changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#ES2# May wriggles free and stands up. Douma May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. May tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcknight swats him away and circles back towards the center. May misses with a few strikes there.
#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. May wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mcknight has him pressed against the cage. May is trying to break the clinch but Mcknight is controlling him. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.#T4# May is trying to break the clinch but Mcknight is controlling him. May has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mcknight is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mcknight tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. May smiles and moves away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcknight shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has May pinned against the cage. May gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Truman Mcknight. I think Mcknight has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
