Lomachenko has Kidd pressed against the cage, preventing Kidd from circling away and getting back to striking at range.#BC# Kidd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Lomachenko gets in close and instigates a clinch. #BC2# Lomachenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL2# Kidd gets tackled into the cage by Lomachenko. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lomachenko is trying to maintain the position but Kidd is very close to passing his half guard. Lomachenko wants to get back to full guard. Kidd throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kidd is looking to take a break and control but Lomachenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #SUB# Kidd is looking for a kimura here.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lomachenko defends it well. Kidd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lomachenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lomachenko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kidd defends well and Lomachenko ends up having to push Kidd into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lomachenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kidd tries to avoid it but Lomachenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kidd to the ground. Kidd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lomachenko looks winded! Kidd scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Lomachenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kidd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lomachenko somewhat.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lomachenko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kidd is keeping busy. Kidd misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lomachenko.

That was a close round but I would say that Dannie Kidd will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Kidd misses with a head kick.
Kidd is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kidd takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lomachenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kidd as he avoids it easily. Lomachenko keeps the fight on the outside. Lomachenko lands a nice looking body kick. Kidd misses with a takedown attempt and Lomachenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kidd, right into the meat.
Kidd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lomachenko lands a brutal head kick. Kidd looks out on his feet and Lomachenko throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

#R1# Kidd slips a jab and a cross from Kage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kage. Kidd swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Kage shoots for a double leg takedown but Kidd sprawls well. He's pushed Kage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kage shoots for a takedown but Kidd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kage shoots in for a double leg but Kidd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kidd seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dannie Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hokki Kage. Kage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kidd's waist but Kidd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kage off to one side. Kidd tries to counter with a takedown but Kage is quick to defend against it.#CL2# Kage takes the fight into the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kidd.#TD# Kidd jumps guard and drags Kage to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kage is looking to work some ground and pound but Kidd has wrist control. Kidd can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kage controls the pace. Kidd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kidd looking to sit in guard and control but Kage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Kidd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kage manages to get himself to full guard.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Kidd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kidd wants to control from the top but Kage keeps moving. Kidd stays in close to Kage's body and controls the position. Kage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kidd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T3# Kidd in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kage is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kidd dives into side control.

Kidd not allowing Kage to control his hands. Kidd is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Kage wants to control his opponent's hands but Kidd gets his hands free. Kage trying to get back to his feet but Kidd is in full control for now. Kage tries to escape the position.

He has one arm under the chin but Kage has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #SUB# Kidd patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Kidd is looking for the choke from the back position but Kage is controlling his hands well. Kage just trying to survive but Kidd is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Hokki Kage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dannie Kidd is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kidd keeps control of the position as Kage tries to break free.
And that's the end of the fight! Dannie Kidd showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kidd has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Montoya is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kidd's shoulder. That is not cool. Montoya lands an elbow. Montoya has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kidd! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montoya content just to control the position here. Kidd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB2# Kidd has left one of his arms exposed and Montoya doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kidd screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

#R1# Anderson misses with a kick to the body #TD# and Kidd counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anderson won't be happy with that. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kidd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson is trying to buck Kidd off. Kidd cracks Anderson with an elbow. That is naaassty.#SUB# Kidd is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kidd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Anderson pushes Kidd away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kidd gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Anderson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kidd takes a knee to the side of the body. Clinched against the cage, Anderson lands a big elbow that drops Kidd! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Kidd is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Kidd throws a sloppy head kick and Callaway counters with a big left hand that crumples Kidd! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

After the fight, Gary Callaway was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Beddoe stalks Kidd and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kidd's face. Kidd staggers backwards, shaken.#CUT2# It looks like Dannie Kidd has been cut. Beddoe connects with a right that clearly hurt Kidd. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Beddoe proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Kidd collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philo Beddoe! An out of breath Philo Beddoe thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
