This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hetherington scoring with strikes but Lopez is staying in there. Hetherington tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lopez wants to try and get back to his feet. Hetherington postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lopez looks a forlorn figure.

#R1# Lopez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#CL2# Lopez rushes Strike and presses him up against the cage. Lopez looks to throw an elbow but misses. Lopez pushes off an throws an elbow but Strike leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Strike takes an elbow to the temple. #CUT2# It looks like Sinister Strike has been cut. Lopez lands a damaging elbow. A head punch blocked on the inside by Strike. Strike digs a right hand underneath Lopez's ribcage. Lopez let out a lung full of air as it connected. Lopez blocks an uppercut.
With the fighters up against the cage, Lopez throws an elbow but misses. Strike is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Strike really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lopez lands an elbow just above Strike 's eye. Nice elbow from Lopez. Lipton is trying to force a seperation but Lopez has the dominant position. Lopez lands an elbow just above Lipton 's eye. Lipton is trying to break the clinch but Lopez has him pressed against the cage. Lopez swings wildly with an uppercut but Lipton uses good head movement to avoid it. Lipton dodges an elbow strike from Lopez.
Lopez looks to throw an elbow but misses. Lopez pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
