#R1# A head kick from Carman lands but Jones takes it in his stride. Jones is looking to clinch. Carman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Carman looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Carman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Carman misses with an attempted mid kick.
Carman tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Carman circles away.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones lands a body shot.
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Carman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mad Jones. #T2# Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carman but Carman pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Carman lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Jones tries to land a front kick but Carman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones thows a leg kick but Carman checks it enabling Carman to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2# It looks like Mad Jones has been cut. A head kick misses from Carman. Carman keeps the fight on the outside. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carman avoids it really well and circles away. Jones dodges the punch combination from Carman.

Carman looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Carman sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jones shoots in but Carman avoids the takedown attempt easily. Carman lands with a kick to the ribs.

A big right from Carman misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Carman, which made it look bad. A head kick from Carman lands but Jones takes it in his stride. Carman throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Carman in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.#T3# Jones is looking to clinch but Carman is avoiding it.

Carman does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones blocks a head kick by Carman.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mad Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Duane Carman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both fighters circling a little - Carman finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Duane Carman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Carman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
