Spencer lands a head shot.
Peete shoots in looking for a takedown. Spencer tries to sprawl out of it but Peete keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spencer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bud Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spencer connects with a nice looking jab.
Spencer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Spencer throws a quick inside leg kick.
Peete shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Spencer defends it nicely.
Spencer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.#CL2#
Spencer rushes Peete and presses him up against the cage.
I was talking to Peete's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spencer lands a body punch.
Spencer creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Peete's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Peete drops to his knees and Spencer pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Bud Spencer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Gharibi has managed to clinch.
Peete tries to pull guard but Gharibi holds him up against the cage and eventually Peete drops back down to his feet.
Gharibi lands a body punch.
A short right from Gharibi on the inside.
Peete tries to score a body lock takedown but Gharibi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Peete drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gharibi pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Booger Peete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Peete fails to land the takedown.
Gharibi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gharibi's coach down at Kangaroo's MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gharibi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gharibi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gharibi connects with a combination that backs up Peete into the cage. Gharibi lands a flurry of punches that gets past Peete's guard. Peete is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Gharibi bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
