Briggs is pulling down on Green's head to control his posture. Green postures up in Briggs's guard and throws a big left but Briggs blocks it. #R1##TD2# Da Costa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Da Costa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Briggs prevents Da Costa from improving position. Da Costa grinds an elbow into Briggs's temple. Briggs isn't going anywhere. Briggs is letting Da Costa control him for a moment. You can see the frustration on Briggs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Briggs is trying to escape the position but Da Costa is controlling the position. #T1# Da Costa working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Da Costa advances nicely into full mount. Da Costa controlling his opponent. #SUB2# Da Costa has hold of Briggs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Briggs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Da Costa is the winner by TKO! Da Costa jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Murray is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Murray tries to land knees in the clinch but Briggs avoids the damage to the body. #TD2# Murray decides to pull guard. #SUB2# Murray is looking for a triangle but Briggs pushes his legs off easily.
Briggs has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Murray thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
