Ribbit is trying to counter with his kicks. Steiner cracks Ribbit with a good jab. Ribbit uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steiner.
Steiner tries to score with a low kick but Ribbit moves his leg out of the way. A low kick from Steiner misses #CL2# and Ribbit counters into the clinch. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ribbit struggles to land a body shot inside as Steiner controls his hands.

That was a close round but I would say that Dennis Steiner will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dennis Steiner's cut. That's time! Steiner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Steiner checks a leg kick nicely. Steiner walks straight into a right hand from Feti - that's dropped him! Feti jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Steiner from any more punishment! Steiner throws a big shot that misses. Steiner throws a hook to the side of Salvatierra's head but Salvatierra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Salvatierra was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Salvatierra misses with an uppercut. Steiner saw that one coming. Salvatierra with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvatierra throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steiner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Micalinni has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Micalinni misses with a double jab
enabling Steiner to counter with a crisp jab. Micalinni takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Steiner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Steiner swats away the attempt to clinch by Micalinni. Steiner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Steiner throws the left hand but Micalinni avoids the punch easily.
