#R1##TD# Taylor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor working the ground and pound but Chikatilo is defending the strikes. Chikatilo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Taylor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor working the ground and pound.#CUT# It looks like Andrei Chikatilo has been cut. An elbow from Taylor crashes against the mat.
Taylor is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Chikatilo tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chikatilo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Taylor wants to control but Chikatilo is keeping him busy. #T1# Taylor in side control, throwing shots but Chikatilo defends. Taylor lands a decent elbow from side control. Taylor throws an elbow but Chikatilo slips to the side and avoids it well. Taylor working the ground and pound.#CUT# The cut above Andrei Chikatilo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Taylor creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chikatilo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Taylor in side control, throwing shots but Chikatilo defends. Taylor misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
#SUB# Taylor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Taylor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Taylor landing a few strikes. #CUT# Andrei Chikatilo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Andrei Chikatilo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

#R1# Chikatilo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chikatilo thows a left - swing and a miss! Romos doesn't succeed with the takedown and Romos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chikatilo throws out a loose jab but Romos uses good head movement to avoid it. #CL# Romos gets a clinch. #BC# Romos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Romos shoots and misses #KD2# and Chikatilo counters with a nice right hand that sends Romos toppling to the canvas! Romos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chikatilo finish him?!#CUT2# It looks like Fabson Romos has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chikatilo misses the jab. Romos misses with a takedown and Chikatilo counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabson Romos. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Romos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chikatilo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Romos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#KD2# Chikatilo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Romos sprawling to the canvas! Romos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chikatilo finish him?!
#ROC2# Romos is rocked! Romos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Chikatilo ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Romos out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrei Chikatilo! Andrei Chikatilo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Fabson Romos spoke after the fight, saying 'I'LL BE BACK AND BE BETTER.'.

#R1# Jacobs throws a sloppy head kick and Chikatilo moves out of range easily. Jacobs really is a fat lump. Jacobs on the wrong end of a nice hook.#KD2# Chikatilo cracks Jacobs with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jacobs looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chikatilo finish him?
#ROC2# Jacobs is rocked! Jacobs is holding his hands too far apart here. Chikatilo throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Jacobs is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
