Ribeiro misses with a takedown attempt and LaBrie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ribeiro takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ribeiro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and LaBrie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bernardo Ribeiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ribeiro takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. LaBrie is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

#R1# Goodwin leaves Ribeiro with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ribeiro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Goodwin swivels and escapes. Ribeiro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goodwin is fending him off so far but Ribeiro persists. Nope, Goodwin circles away and we're back to standing. Merlin Goodwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernardo Ribeiro. Ribeiro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goodwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ribeiro somewhat.#TD2# Goodwin gets caught napping as Ribeiro dives in and scores a takedown. Goodwin manages to retain guard. Goodwin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ribeiro cracks Goodwin with a solid left hand. Goodwin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ribeiro not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ribeiro works over Goodwin with some ground and pound from guard.#T1# Goodwin is looking to stand up but Ribeiro isn't so interested in that idea. Ribeiro chips away with some ground and pound. Goodwin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ribeiro couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1##TD2# Ribeiro shoots in and bounces Dominguez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ribeiro missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ribeiro works over Dominguez with some ground and pound from guard. Dominguez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ribeiro controls the pace. Ribeiro distracts Dominguez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Ribeiro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ribeiro scoring with punches to the head and body. Ribeiro is looking to pass into half guard but Dominguez pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dominguez is in guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ribeiro avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dominguez scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dominguez really is a fat lump.#SUB2# Dominguez stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ribeiro has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Dominguez manages to get his head free but now Ribeiro has transitioned to an armbar! Dominguez grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ribeiro! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
