#R1##TD2# McDonald closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Espinosa to the mat! Espinosa manages to get full guard. McDonald content to stall in guard here. Espinosa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McDonald. Hammerfist, elbow! yells McDonald's corner. There ya go! There ya go! McDonald must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Espinosa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDonald trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Espinosa manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! #REVR# Espinosa trying to control the position from guard on top but McDonald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDonald is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Espinosa trying to control but McDonald is working from the bottom. #T1# McDonald wants to sweep but no luck. McDonald looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Espinosa puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. McDonald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Espinosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McDonald holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. McDonald is not content to let Espinosa control the position. McDonald is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Espinosa keeps the fight on the outside. McDonald fails to land with a series of punches.
McDonald cracks Espinosa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. McDonald lands a really nice looking cross but Espinosa seems unphased.

Espinosa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Espinosa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cutesic Junior's waist but Cutesic Junior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Espinosa off to one side. Cutesic Junior walks forward, straight into a front kick from Espinosa.#CL# Cutesic Junior tries to keep at a distance but Espinosa has taken the fight into the clinch. Espinosa lands a damaging elbow. Cutesic Junior taking a breather. Espinosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cutesic Junior is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. #R1# Espinosa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Espinosa wants it to stay on the feet. Espinosa tries to clinch but Barron moves out of range. Espinosa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Barron's sensitive parts. #TD# Barron shoots in and bounces Espinosa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Espinosa is looking to stand back up but Barron counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Espinosa. #REVB# Barron content to control rather than advance. Espinosa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Espinosa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Barron. #T1# Barron not doing much here.
