Magolis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Magolis dodges the punch combination from Tim. #TD2#
Magolis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tim is pulling down on Magolis's head to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tim takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tim's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#T4#

Tim has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Magolis throws a nice looking combination but Tim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Peter Magolis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Magolis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Peter Magolis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Joe goes for a double leg but Magolis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Magolis continues to drive forward.#TD#

Magolis tries to kick Joe off in order to stand up. Joe Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The referee asks Joe politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Joe prefers to stall for the moment though.

Joe in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Magolis looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Joe turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Joe Joe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Lichen cracks Magolis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.#CUT#
It looks like Peter Magolis has been cut.
Magolis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lichen counters with a right hand to the body.
We've been told by Lichen's head coaches at Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Magolis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lichen as he jumps to the side.
Lichen catches Magolis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#ROC#
Magolis is rocked!
Magolis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Magolis is still on wobbly legs! Can Lichen finish him?
Lichen throws an uppercut from hell that sends Magolis clean off his feet! He's out cold! Lichen stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Our winner, David Lichen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Motts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Motts tries to land a front kick but Magolis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Magolis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Motts as he jumps to the side.
Magolis throws out a loose jab but Motts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Motts misses the shot to the body.

and Magolis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Magolis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Motts wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Motts is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
You can see the frustration on Magolis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Magolis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Motts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Motts looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Magolis covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
