Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shtirko as he avoids it easily.
It seemed like Shtirko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Shtirko scores with a punch to the head.#CUT2#
It looks like Bea Mason has been cut.#CL2#
Shtirko gets a clinch.
Mason wants a takedown but no success here.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Shtirko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mason has him pressed against the cage.
Shtirko is pressed up against the cage. Mason has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shtirko down to the mat. Shtirko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bea Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shtirko drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mason right on the button. Mason goes down! Shtirko follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Shtirko gets the win via TKO!

It looks like Yoshihiro Sexyama has been cut.
Sexyama moves into full guard.
Sexyama manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shtirko manages to get himself to full guard. #REVB#
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sexyama thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Sexyama is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB2#
Sexyama drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sexyama seems to have locked his on tight now - Shtirko screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sexyama, as he picks up the win!

Shtirko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jones is trying to drag Shtirko to the mat but Shtirko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Shtirko swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Shtirko wants to break free but Jones has control.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Shtirko shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Shtirko scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jones is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Shtirko lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Shtirko scores with a shot to the side of Jones's head.
Jones is looking for a takedown.
Ivan Shtirko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Jones.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shtirko has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Helsinki in the buildup to the fight.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat. #CL#
Shtirko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shtirko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones jumps guard but Shtirko stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shtirko looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

A frustrated look appears on Shtirko's face as he tries to break the clinch. #BC#
Shtirko manages to break the clinch.
Jones lands a head kick. Shtirko smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Shtirko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Jones slips a straight right by Shtirko.
Jones slips under a jab.
Shtirko looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
Shtirko throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shtirko throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shtirko. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones throws a head kick that Shtirko semi-blocks. #T1#
Shtirko rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jones counters with a head kick. That will keep Shtirko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! #ROC2#

and Jones counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Shtirko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Shtirko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones is looking to counter punch.
Shtirko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shtirko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
Jones is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Shtirko.
Shtirko misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a good low kick that Shtirko was not able to check.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Shtirko.
Jones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ivan Shtirko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Shtirko down.

Shtirko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Look low, kick high! Jones uses the oldest trick in the book to send Shtirko tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jones is absolutely delighted - when Shtirko wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shtirko.
Borislav shoots for a takedown but Shtirko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shtirko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Borislav.
Shtirko slaps away a takedown attempt from Borislav, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Borislav looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shtirko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Borislav.
Borislav is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shtirko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Shtirko shoots for a double leg takedown but Eduardo sprawls well. He's pushed Shtirko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It seemed like Eduardo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Eduardo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sloppy strikes from Shtirko. Those never looked like landing.
Shtirko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Eduardo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Eduardo dips to his left and cracks Shtirko with an uppercut!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Eduardo looks to move away, Shtirko throws a big counter combo but Eduardo just gets out of the way.
