Übensplikt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hirsch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Übensplikt throws out the jab. Hirsch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#CUT2# It looks like Wolfgang Übensplikt has been cut. Seventeen throws a half hearted mid kick. We've been told by Übensplikt's head coaches at Navy Street MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Übensplikt misses with an uppercut
#KD2# and Seventeen counters with a crisp one two that drops Übensplikt! Seventeen thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Übensplikt to his feet! Übensplikt is in big trouble! Seventeen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The fighters circle momentarily. Seventeen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. BOOM! Seventeen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Übensplikt. Übensplikt tries to recover but Seventeen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Übensplikt lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Übensplikt's waist but Übensplikt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bell off to one side. Übensplikt moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT# It looks like Greg Bell has been cut. Bell throws a chopping leg kick but Übensplikt manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Übensplikt tries to clinch but Bell moves out of range. Bell is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Bell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Übensplikt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB# Übensplikt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Übensplikt has managed to get both his arms back between Bell's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell is adopting a defensive guard. We've been hearing good reports from Bell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.#T1# Bell looking for a sweep. Nurudinov swings and misses with a shot to the body and Steiner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Steiner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nurudinov in his tracks. #TD# Nurudinov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steiner napping and manages to drive through into side control!
